Daniel Wolnik, Vice President – Finance and Administration of The Gottlieb Organization, has over 25 years of accounting experience working in the financial services sector for both privately held businesses and public companies.

Prior to joining The Gottlieb Organization, Dan was with one of the largest independent real estate consulting firms in the country. The firm’s clients included institutional investors, primarily pension funds (e.g., Fortune 500 and state funds), where the firm was engaged to develop investment strategies, evaluate prospective investments and oversee client portfolio and investment performance. Dan served as chief financial officer, responsible for directing and controlling financial results, managing the accounting and reporting process, preparing budgets and financial projections, establishing internal controls and coordinating external audits and tax filings. Dan also served for several years as chief compliance officer, developing, enforcing, and maintaining investment advisory compliance programs.

Previously, he worked in the Corporate Accounting Group as director of internal reporting for a publicly traded owner, developer and manager of a diverse portfolio of premier real estate property located throughout the United States, with a Big 4 accounting firm and as a controller for privately held companies.  

Dan graduated from Case Western Reserve University earning an MBA degree in Finance, and Cleveland State University earning a BBA degree in Accounting. Dan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Ohio.
